Abattoir Robotics
Our client required a robotic system capable of online location and sampling of specific points on a carcass for scientific measurement. The system needed to ensure measurements were taken at the same point, regardless of carcass size and shape.
Peacock Technology collaborated closely with the client to develop an end-of-arm tool, machine vision robot guidance, and data logging from multiple third-party sensors. Development and testing were carried out on-site.
As a result, the client can now obtain data consistently and accurately, enabling them to advance their research into meat quality measures.
